Artist's Statement

I am a creative individualist with a passion for telling stories about nature and how
the world works through art.

Illustration Experience

  • Two of my botanical illustrations part of the U.S. Botanic Gardens “Flora of the National Parks” exhibit 2016
  • One of my botanical illustrations was selected to represent the 50th anniversary of the Denver Botanic Gardens Conservatory
  • Wrote and illustrated Send Me a Box of Wolverines, published 2014
  • Published “Will Draw for Food” in the Journal of Natural Science Illustration, 2014, No. 1
  • Voices of the Wilderness Artist In Residence, Tracy Arm – Fords Terror Wilderness, 2013
  • Wrote and illustrated Wilderness Explorer Jr. Ranger Activity Book for the National Park
    Service, more than 40,000 copies printed and distributed as of 2014
  • Exhibited in jurried shows at the Denver Botanic Gardens 2012, 2013, 2014
